1. The NLL has announced the start of its preseason slate.

Highlighted by Benefit Games at A’nowara’ko:wa Arena in Akwesasne, Ontario, Nov. 11-13, the preseason schedule prepares the leagues and its teams for Face Off Weekend on December 2-3.

2. Which programs boast the best transfer classes of the summer?

Inside Lacrosse breaks down the top 10 men’s transfer classes, with Georgetown’s haul of Tucker Dordevic, Danny Hincks, Jacob Kelly, Brian MInicus and Nicky Solomon placing the Hoyas at the top of the list.

3. Iran has joined World Lacrosse.

In becoming World Lacrosse’s 79th member nation, Iran is the 18th member of the Asia Pacific Lacrosse Union Association and the fifth addition from Asia this year alone.

4. What’s the measure of success for new teams? It’s not just wins.

Clemson, Eastern Michigan, Fairleigh Dickinson and Xavier embark on their first Division I seasons this spring, and while anticipation is high, hopes are tempered. Sure, winning is always top of mind, but these teams will all gauge success in different ways.

5. Method Man is dropping a new line with the PLL and Champion.

Releasing Nov. 2, the collection features tees, hoodies and more. The goal, the Wu-Tang Clan member said, is to encourage young children to pick up lacrosse.
