Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Blaze Riorden isn’t done playing goalie this year. He’s got one more job to do.
Riorden, the PLL MVP who led Chaos LC to its first championship last month, typically trades in his goalie stick for the one he uses for the Philadelphia Wings in the NLL. However, the 2019 U.S. indoor bronze medalist will put on the red, white and blue for the U.S. men’s field team at Fall Classic next weekend.
More from Nelson Rice on the star of the summer.
2. The HEADStrong Foundation is back with its Fall Event Series for a 14th year.
The series kicks off with two Nick Colleluori Classics on Oct. 9-10 featuring a number of top men’s and women’s college lacrosse teams. Click here for the full schedule.
3. Wednesday was #NationalCoachesDay, where some of the best coaches in lacrosse history were recognized.

New Virginia Tech women's coach Kristen Skiera celebrated this Spooky Season by scaring a few of her players. Makes for good content.
Hands down one of my top 3 fav scare reactions. Emma needs to be a bit more skeptical of large boxes lingering in the training area. Shoutout to athletic training staff for the help with this one! pic.twitter.com/zwPOPNsCHl
