Georgetown went 15-1 in the regular season, earned a No. 2 seed to the NCAA Tournament and appeared destined to play on Memorial Day Weekend. But a first-round upset loss to Delaware ended the Hoyas’ season. This fall, Georgetown is striking a balance between not forgetting it but not dwelling on it, according to Patrick Stevens. -

For the Belichicks, coaching is a family affair.
Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, who played collegiate lacrosse at Wesleyan University, told his kids to follow their passion. They did.

USA Lacrosse is hosting a fall webinar on girls’ rules.
New rules, including modifications to stick checks, were approved earlier this month for high school and youth girls’ lacrosse. USA Lacrosse National Rules Interpreter Jeffrey Grose and USA Lacrosse Rules Committee Chair Barbara Martinichi will explain the new rules during a free webinar on Oct. 3 at 8 p.m. EDT. Advanced registration is required but free.
