Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Rutgers and Denver enter the Nike / US Lacrosse Division I Women’s Top 20.

The Scarlet Knights have five Big Ten wins for the first time, while the Pioneers have won 10 straight games. Meanwhile, Boston College flips with Notre Dame after sweeping the Fighting Irish.

2. The top 11 teams in the Nike / US Lacrosse Division I Men’s rankings have separated themselves.

Patrick Stevens writes that those teams are 70-0 against everyone else. Also, Navy and Vermont enter this week’s rankings.

3. Division II and Division III conference battles are heating up.

In men’s Division II, Le Moyne survived tests from Adelphi and Bentley, while Mercy topped Mercyhurst to jump into the top 3.

In women’s Division II, there were no changes in the rankings, while seven teams remain unbeaten.

In men’s Division III, the top 10 stayed mostly intact, while Stevenson rose five spots after downing Eastern.

In women’s Division III, Washington & Lee continued its hot start to the season by overtaking Salisbury for the No. 2 ranking.

4. US Lacrosse advocated for the presence of an automated external defibrillator (AED) at all lacrosse practices and games in the wake of an incident involving a high school lacrosse player, Peter Laake, last Friday.

Laake, a freshman defenseman, was struck in the chest with a shot. He collapsed on the field and immediately received medical attention. In addition to Loyola Blakefield’s training staff, two doctors came from the stands to assist with administering an AED on the field.
