1. Lyle Thompson had a milestone game on Saturday night — fittingly on the Chesapeake Bayhawks’ Native American Celebration Night. Bayhawks fans were treated to a halftime and post-game ceremony honoring the game’s roots.
And Thompson made sure that celebration was a good one. He tallied five points and picked up his 100th MLL goal to push the Bayhawks into first place in the MLL. More in the MLL Notebook.
2. Chaos made PLL history over the weekend. Myles Jones led the balanced en route to a win over Redwoods, clinching the first-ever PLL playoff spot.
The PLL Notebook dives into the significance of the victory, and the reeling Whipsnakes.
3. Joel White is back in the NLL. White, who was named to the U.S. indoor national team ahead of the World Indoor Lacrosse Championship next month, agreed to a one-year deal with the Georgia Swarm.
White most recently played for the Swarm in the 2017-18 season. He was listed on the Holdout List for last season.
