Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Go inside the September/October edition of US Lacrosse Magazine.
On the surface, the 2018 Federation of International Lacrosse Men’s World Championship will be remembered for its dramatic final seconds, but for the victorious U.S. team, winning the gold medal represented much more.
For Team USA, it was more about the journey, and this edition of the magazine takes you behind the scenes of that two-year odyssey that culminated in the program’s 10th world championship. Also in the September/October issue, which mails to members of US Lacrosse soon, a story of survival and friendship by US Lacrosse manager of men’s officials development Gordon Corsetti, a look at the emotional moments and fitting ending of the 10th annual US Lacrosse Nationals, and profiles of members of the National Hall of Fame’s class of 2018.
2. A closer look at the September/October cover, featuring members of Team USA hoisting the Turnbull Shield after winning the FIL World Championship.
