3. Georgetown and North Carolina each have two representatives on the USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason NCAA Division I Men’s All-America team.

A more than 700-day wait will end when Cornell opens its men’s lacrosse schedule on Feb. 19 hosting state rival Albany. The Big Red revealed their 2022 schedule on Monday morning. Also releasing schedules were Denver (women), Navy (women), Quinnipiac (men), Saint Joseph’s (women) and Temple (women).

Jordyn Merkel will be the first head women’s lacrosse coach at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Rachel Benzing announced on Monday that she is stepping down as the head women’s lacrosse coach of Missouri Western. Assistant coach Jessica Berg will be the interim head coach for the 2022 season.
