Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Mackenzie Burns is following in her father’s footsteps, starting her career as an NYPD officer this past March.

The U.S. Women’s National Team player pool member embarked on her NYPD journey amid the COVID-19 pandemic and protests surrounding the murder of George Floyd. She’s endured a difficult 2020, but it paving her trail.

Check out Burns’ story from the December edition.

2. Liam Entenmann could be the next big thing between the pipes in college lacrosse.

Entenmann, the U.S. U20 team member, has been working with PLL stars this year to sharpen his skills. He’s picked the brain of players like Kyle Bernlohr. He’s hoping to continue to learn about his craft ahead of his sophomore year at Notre Dame.

More from Nelson Rice.

3. A little Monday night box lacrosse at Navy Marines Corps Memorial Stadium.

It’s got the NLL thinking about innovation.
