2. US Lacrosse launched Monday an online education and training platform through a partnership with the U.S. Center for SafeSport.
It is free to all US Lacrosse adult members and is the latest development in its SafeSport Program. It is also currently voluntary, but will become mandatory later this year.
“We have a duty to lead on this critically important issue,” said Steve Stenersen, president and CEO at US Lacrosse. “We’re committed to doing what is needed to protect our kids and to make our sport safer. There’s no room for people who abuse others in lacrosse.”

5. The Wings made history over the weekend thanks to Blaze Riorden’s overtime tally, which lifted Philadelphia over Rochester 15-14 in its new era.
“It was kind of a blur,” Riorden said. “Honestly, it was a layup. It had nothing to do with me, just a lot of hard work for 60 minutes.”

6. In Division II, the reigning champions are the favorites to repeat – Merrimack men and Le Moyne women. Check out previews of both DII men’s and women’s preseason Top 20s.
Good news: Expanded 16-team @NCAALAX DII women's bracket will be the largest ever.

Bad news? Traditional powers will likely dominate, keeping entry path narrow for newcomers. At the top of the favorites is 2018 champion @LeMoyneWLAX.
