Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. More sad news from the lacrosse wold continues to impact lives. As we wrote about yesterday, Furman student assistant coach Jackson Roberts died in a motorcycle accident on Friday. On Saturday, Colorado senior attacker Julia Sarcona died in single-vehicle automobile crash. On Monday, former Cortland All-American and West Genesee (N.Y.) coach Joseph Adams lost a battle with brain cancer. Also, on Sunday night, Nassau Community College assistant coach Tom Brazel, the father of Hofstra assistant J.P. Brazel, died after a series of heart attacks he suffered while battling pneumonia.

2. Former Syracuse star Liam Banks is new coach of the Atlanta Blaze, taking over from Dave Huntley, who died unexpectedly last month. Banks now lives in Atlanta and has played a major role in helping to develop lacrosse in the state.
3. Following back-to-back NCAA tournament trips for the first time in 15 years, Cornell has a veteran cast back to make a third straight run at the postseason in women's lacrosse.
4. This quote says it all as Army looks ahead to 2018: “What can be better motivation for offseason training than being abandoned by the NCAA playoff selection committee?”
5. US Lacrosse has published its annual rules interpretation videos for boys and girls lacrosse at the high school and youth levels.
6. An early season roster switch has flipped Toronto’s season around as the Rock have posted three straight wins.
7. The New England Black Wolves have reversed fortunes from a year ago. After starting last season 0-3, New England is off to a 3-1 start this season and lead the NLL East. This and more from Neil Stevens’ NLL Notebook.
