Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. One of the intriguing things about this summer’s Athletes Unlimited season will be the rosters changing weekly. 2018 Tewaaraton winner Sam Apuzzo was Hayley Warden’s first pick for this week’s draft.
2. A fabulous read from Nelson Rice on stick-stringing guru Lars Keil. The praise coming from the best in the game on his ability is something to behold.
One need not go to a galaxy far, far away for the best strung heads out there.

3. Kenny DeJohn with a notebook from the opening weekend of the Athletes Unlimited season.
4. USA Lacrosse will hold its second evaluation camp for the new Sixes discipline next week at the Lake Placid Summit Classic.
5. National champion Acacia Walker of Boston College headlines the IWLCA National and Regional Coach of the Year selections.
6. James Farrell, a captain for the Penn men’s lacrosse team in 2018, was one of five people killed in auto accident over the weekend on Long Island. Two other former lacrosse players, Farrell’s younger brother, Michael, and his high school teammate, Ryan Kiese, died in the crash.
Our hearts are broken following the news out of Long Island this weekend. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Farrell family.
