Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1.  The 2021 men’s National Team Development Program kicked off on Monday and will be followed by a women’s event today. A total of 20 events will be held to determine invitees to national combines in August. The program, a pipeline to the U.S. team program and a high-level training for high school players, will name USA Select teams at the U16 and U18 age groupings later this year.

2. Syracuse made it official on Monday, longtime men’s lacrosse coach John Desko is retiring as the school’s head coach and he will be replaced by Gary Gait, the school’s current women’s lacrosse coach. Gait, a Hall of Fame player, led the Orange women to the NCAA championship game this year. Desko, who won five national championships is a head coach, will be going into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame this fall.

3. Katie Haus, a two-time world champion and two-time Tewaaraton winner at Maryland, announced her retirement as a player with the U.S. women’s national team.

4. After a dream season in which she set the NCAA single-season goals record with 102, won the Tewaaraton Award and led Boston College to its first NCAA championoship, Charlotte North announced she is coming back for one more season.
