1. Drama and upsets marked the week that was in college lacrosse, namely in Divisions I and III, resulting in some shakeups in the Nike/US Lacrosse Top 20 rankings, released yesterday. Summaries of the movers and shakers in each division, followed by the index of all rankings for quick reference:

2. The collegiate men’s and women’s coaches associations and Inside Lacrosse released yesterday their respective polls yesterday, as well:

3. Albany sophomore attackman Tehoka Nanticoke has been reinstated by the NCAA following its review of his Instagram account, which in one post tagged a stick-stringing company. He was held out of Saturday’s one-goal loss to Cornell. Nanticoke has three goals and an assist in two games thus far for the Great Danes (1-2), who open their home slate at 3 p.m. today against UMass (1-3).

4. Check out galleries from US Lacrosse Magazine photographers Peyton Williams and John Strohsacker, who covered Saturday’s Denver at North Carolina men’s game and Friday’s Stony Brook at Towson women’s game, respectively. The former marked the first game in the Tar Heels’ new lacrosse and soccer stadium.

5. The Premier Lacrosse League executed another social media news drip, announcing rosters for its six teams player ... by player ... by player ... with bitmojis. League co-founder Paul Rabil joins Atlas, which includes U.S. team stars Tucker Durkin, Trevor Baptiste, Ryan Brown and Steve DeNapoli. All three Utah assistant coaches — Marcus Holman, Will Manny and Adam Ghitelman — join Tom Schreiber on the Archers. Here’s a single-page breakdown of the six team rosters.

Not as clear at this point is who assigned which players to which teams, and how or why.

6. The New England Black Wolves took a step closer to a playoff bid with their win over the Colorado Mammoth Sunday, but it might have been their last with game with leading scorer Callum Crawford.
