Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Graham Bundy Jr. can play. But he also does things the right way off the field. “This was a guy that was cleaning the locker room after sessions,” U.S. U19 head coach Nick Myers said. “One of the toughest guys on the field. Eye contact. Yes sir. No sir. Really impressed me.”
.@HoyasMLacrosse freshman Graham Bundy Jr. made quite the impression on @USAMLax U19 coach @MyersJMZ during tryouts with his maturity, toughness and competitiveness. https://t.co/3WlLzc9ypT pic.twitter.com/KEKMvxLV2l

Bundy will continue the tryout process for the 2020 U.S. U19 team with a training camp at Ohio State this weekend.
2. Jared Bernhardt was a highly-regarded football recruit coming out of high school. Maryland’s star attackman is planning to give football one more shot, but not until after he takes care of another year with the Terps. Patrick Stevens checks in with Maryland after fall ball.
Jared Bernhardt has more to do on the lacrosse field for @TerpsMLax before pursuing football. @D1scourse checks in with Maryland, which has added impact transfers and will play an upgraded schedule in 2020. https://t.co/wTwqSO5Gs2 pic.twitter.com/E9Pl51FyNI

3. Speaking of multi-sport athletes, one-time Florida youth lacrosse player Pete Alonso was named the National League Rookie of the Year yesterday.
Congrats @Pete_Alonso20! Once a Floridian lacrosse player, now your @MLB Rookie of the Year — and HR King. Imagine how fast he could shoot. Probably a lot faster than distance I can hit a baseball. https://t.co/7qOgBy4mIu pic.twitter.com/IKIbLJzSge
