Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. The MLL put out a press release on Monday announcing that WarDog Lacrosse would be an official provider of socks for the 2018 season. But that’s not what people are talking about in the league. Kyle Devitte of Inside Lacrosse tweeted that the MLL is rumored to be announcing a new franchise in Dallas this week.

And others are wondering what’s going on with the search for a new league commissioner.

2. A high school knee injury didn’t derail Boston College’s Dempsey Arsenault’s career. She led BC’s final four team with 48 groundballs last year and the junior will be a starter at midfield for the third consecutive season.

3. This week’s Fred Opie podcast features longtime high school coach Troy Kemp, who is now finding new fulfillment with Nation United.

4. Just south of the Canadian border lies Houlton, Maine, a town that not too long had no lacrosse. Thanks to a pair of grants from US Lacrosse, that’s no longer the case.

5. There are nearly 80 US Lacrosse Coach Development clinics already scheduled over the next four months. Look for one in your area.
