1. The NLL is revealing the Fort Worth franchise name today.
The league teased the announcement yesterday on Twitter. The Fort Worth franchise will be the league's 14th and will start play in the 2021-22 season.

2. Dan Bucaro is healthy and not letting his past injuries define him.
Bucaro, the former Georgetown star and current Denver Outlaws attackman, tore his ACL during his junior season with the Hoyas. He also played through a torn meniscus last season. This summer with the Outlaws, he showed what he was capable of when he’s 100 percent.
3. SAY-LAX in Saugerties (N.Y.) is continuing to grow even after the passing of its founder, Bob Slate.
Slate started the program in the early 2000s and built it into a success by the time he stepped away in 2017. After he passed following a battle with cancer, the community has stepped up to revitalize the program.
4. ICYMI: World Lacrosse membership has approved official playing rules for the 6-v-6 discipline at its general assembly over the weekend.

The senior men’s world championship has moved from 2022 to 2023, the Men’s Box World Championship has moved from 2023 to 2024, and the Women’s U19 World Championship has been moved from 2023 to 2024.

The World Lacrosse Board of Directors will make a decision in December on the status of both the Men’s U20 World Championship and the Women’s World Championship.

Approval was given to raise the upper age of eligibility of age-group championship to Men’s U20 and Women’s U20.
