Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Paul Rabil, who spent yesterday talking about his new professional league with CBS News, lands on the December cover of US Lacrosse Magazine following the Oct. 22 announcement of the Premier Lacrosse League.
“Our goal was to help re-create the professional game, but to do so with professional entities in existence,” founder Rabil said. “Because of our passion and our vision for not only where we think the game could go, but also strategically, how we could get it there, it led us to launching the Premier Lacrosse League.”

3. Former Mercer defenseman Josh Williamson out of Lake Mary, Fla., is now a potential 2022 Olympic bobsledder for Team USA after winning Season 1 of NBC’s “Scouting Camp: Next Olympic Hopeful.”
“I knew I was a good athlete after competing in college, but I really didn’t know what I’d be good at,” Williamson told USA Today. At scouting camp, “They kind of tell you what they think you have the build for, they tell you what athletically you might be successful in. Coming from Florida, I didn’t really know bobsled was an option.”
