Good morning. Here's the latest from the lacrosse world:
1. Cailin Bracken is leading the way in mental health advocacy in college sports.
Earlier this year, Vanderbilt’s Cailin Bracken’s letter to college sports ran on Morgan’s Message’s “The Mental Matchup.” USA Lacrosse also ran the piece — and Good Morning America picked up the story, too. Now, Bracken is giving USA Lacrosse Magazine readers a behind-the-scenes look at her own dark moments and how she has become a light for others. Editor In Chief Matt DaSilva explained why we chose Bracken as the cover star.
2. This #GivingTuesday, our message is simple: GIVE THE GIFT OF LACROSSE!
Your support will provide opportunities for thousands of children to experience the sport of lacrosse for the first time; offer coaches and officials access to resources that ensure safe and fair playing experiences; and create pathways for young men and women to pursue their dreams of gold! Gift here, no bow required.
3. Schedule releases continue.
We’ll be tying a bow on 2022 soon. But don’t look now — February is less than three months away, which means the 2023 season is close. Schedule releases continue to come out. Towson announced its 2023 women’s schedule, while the Lehigh men’s team unveiled its slate yesterday.
