Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Former Hofstra men's lacrosse player Jon Cooper won the Stanley Cup as the Tampa Bay Lightning's head coach last night. Here's a feature Marisa Ingemi wrote for us about his lacrosse roots back in 2017.
Congratulations to #Hofstra alum @CoopersLaw and the @TBLightning for winning the 2020 #StanleyCup !#HofstraFamily #RoarWithPride https://t.co/HdNVuKajy7 pic.twitter.com/nI33ltj8Sf

2. US Lacrosse kicked off its She Competes webinar series yesterday. The three-day, six-event series includes two more sessions today, including U.S. team head coach Jenny Levy hosting “Developing Women in Leadership” today at 4 p.m.
3. From our Sept/Oct print edition, “How the MLL Season Reflected America in 2020.”
4. Brendan Grimes has seen a lot of change happening: his senior year of high school cut short, the U19 world championship postponed and his college coach let go. He’s staying upbeat.
"Brendan, for all your skill and success on the field, it’s your heart — the heart of a champion — that sets you apart."
