Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Michael Kraus will not return to Virginia in 2021.

The defending national champions announced that Kraus, the two-time captain and member of the 100-goal, 100-assist club, will not seek another year of eligibility. He leaves Charlottesville tied for fourth in school history with 240 points.

2. The U19 men’s world championship will take place in 2021.

Previously scheduled for July of this year, the U19 world championship was postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. World Lacrosse took the time to assess the future of the event, and announced that it will go on next summer, with the age limit extended to 20. The date is yet to be determined.

3. The Virtual NCAA tournament is underway.

We saw more than a few nail biters in the play-in games, but High Point and Mount St. Mary’s women and Marist men advanced to the first round. Head to over Twitter to vote on all games now.

4. John Tillman joined Paul Carcaterra on Overtime Season 3, Episode 8.

Tillman, the NCAA champion coach, talked about his upbringing in New York, his experience as a player at Cornell and how he ended up at Maryland. Listen below.

5. In Dom Starsia’s latest column, he writes about the emergence of Virginia legend Steele Stanwick. Known for his solitary workouts, Stanwick went beyond the 10,000-hours rule for mastering a subject.
