3. World Lacrosse president Sue Redfern was elected to a second term and the organization also said that 6v6 versions of the game will be used for the World Games in Birmingham, Ala., in 2021.
4. Ghana will become the 63rd member, and third from Africa, of World Lacrosse.
5. Data released from the NCAA shows that lacrosse has some of the lowest transfer rates of any college sports. Just 4.2 percent of Division I men’s lacrosse players (17th of 19 sports included) and 3.5 percent of Division I women’s lacrosse players (18th of 19 sports included) transferred.
