2. Taylor Cummings penned her final column of the Athletes Unlimited season.
In her weekly look inside AU Lacrosse, Cummings thank everyone involved with the league for making it an unquestioned success. Cummings, a three-time Tewaaraton Award winner, earned the inaugural points championship.
“From the facilities to our uniforms to our wages and more, Athletes Unlimited raised the bar for professional women’s lacrosse. We were so fortunate to be the first to compete at this caliber of professionalism, and I know we will see that bar continue to rise as the years go on.”
3. Utah has hired Andrew McMinn as its second men’s lacrosse coach.
McMinn, who comes to Utah after spending 10 years as the head coach at Robert Morris, will guide the Utes in their first season as an ASUN participant.
4. A flurry of women’s coaching staff news.
Allison Kwolek named her first assistant at Clemson, adding Madison Carter to her staff. UMass Lowell added James Rippey to its staff, and Central Michigan brought Avery Blackmon on board as an assistant, too.
