Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Tim Troutner has come from unheralded recruit to PLL star in a matter of five years.
Troutner, the Maryland native who eventually signed on with High Point, helped anchor a Panthers team for four years until making the move to the PLL. Check out the Tim Troutner story.
2. Joey Spallina headlines a 2022 recruiting class that includes a slew of notables names.
Spallina. Pietramala. Reese. Colsey. Dwan. Palumb. Myers. All are children of NCAA coaches, officials or alumni, and all are high-end Division I recruits. Check out the feature from the December edition.
3. Lauren Davenport, the manager of athlete development at US Lacrosse, shares her latest piece on enacting change in our community.
Although US Lacrosse’s Position Statement on Native American Mascots and Anti-Harassment and Discrimination Policy and Corrective Action Plan have helped progress this sport forward, we need to continue to be more proactive.
