Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Kyle Hartzell joins the ranks of Americans playing in the NLL. The San Diego Seals announced Tuesday that they signed Hartzell to a one-year deal.

This isn’t Hartzell’s first experience with the NLL. He has appeared in 65 games in a five-year career, tallying 32 points, 24 caused turnovers and 309 loose balls.
2. Overtime with Paul Carcaterra is here, folks. Our new podcast, hosted by the former Syracuse All-American and current ESPN personality, launched officially on Tuesday.

3. The Premier Lacrosse League continues to make waves in the business sphere. The league announced it had closed a Series A funding round led by Alibaba billionaire and former Yale lacrosse player Joe Tsai. Also included in the Bloomberg article, NBC will now air a third PLL game during its inaugural season.
4. In the lone Division I game Tuesday, Syracuse blew out Binghamton 15-5 behind a hat trick from Nicole Levy. Ten different players scored for the Orange.
5. Denver women’s lacrosse opened with a win over Stanford for the third straight season. This time, the Pioneers added a victory over Cal to cap the weekend.
Hannah Liddy and a strong defense helped fuel the hot start for Denver.
6. U.S. U19 training team member Maddie Jenner is excited about playing with her sister once again. She joined Olivia, a senior, at Duke for the 2019 season.

7. Gettysburg star Steph Colson is embracing a free approach in her senior year with the Bullets. The Brine/US Lacrosse Division III Women’s Preseason Player of the Year battled injuries through her first two seasons, but a clean bill of health and a trip to Nicaragua have inspired her.
