1. #D3lax time!

Steph Colson, the seemingly all-everything midfielder at Gettysburg, returns for her senior season with hopes of leading the top-ranked Bullets to their third straight NCAA championship. TCNJ and Middlebury lead a strong pack of challengers, highlighting a team-by-team look at the Nike/US Lacrosse Division III Women’s Preseason Top 20.

Wesleyan made history en route to the 2018 mens national championship and enters this season No. 1. Can a team from a league other than the CAC and NESCAC wrest the crown away? Here’s a breakdown of the Nike/US Lacrosse Division III Men’s Preseason Top 20.

2. The Boston College Eagles have been flying under coach Acacia Walker-Weinstein, reaching two straight national championship games. With a slew of elite talent returning and a highly regarded recruiting class, the prospects for BC to win its first title have never been better.

3. ESPN yesterday announced its schedule of college lacrosse games to be streamed or broadcast on its family of networks. The slate includes 29 regular-season games on ESPNU or ESPNEWS.

4. More good news on exposure for the sport. The American Athletic Conference, which is sponsoring womens lacrosse for the first season, announced that three league games will be produced on the American Digital Network. All six conference teams will appear.
