Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. The Boston Cannons and Denver Outlaws picked up wins in MLL pool play.
For the Cannons, a four-goal rally fueled a crucial 12-10 victory over the Philadelphia Barrage. Boston now sits in third place in the MLL standings.

The Outlaws withstood a battle with the New York Lizards and a 90-minute rain delay to move to 3-0.

2. Jules Heningburg knows his test results from the PLL’s medical team were somewhat of a blessing in disguise.
Heningburg, the Redwoods LC star, tested positive for COVID-19 on June 21. He got back to training weeks later, not knowing his oxygen levels were well below normal, leaving him at high risk for cardiac arrest. Tests upon arrival in Utah showed he was unable to play in the Championship Series, but he’s taking the news in stride.

3. John Crawley has found his calling in college coaching.
Crawley, the Atlas LC middie, wasn’t sure what he wanted to do coming out of Johns Hopkins, but legendary Blue Jays coach Dave Pietramala suggested college coaching. Years later, the offensive coordinator at Lehigh is happy he listened.
Check out Crawley’s story of finding his passion.
4. PLL training camp is underway in Utah.
Each of the league’s seven teams got a chance to train for the first time near Zions Bank Stadium. Here’s a glimpse at what the players were doing during Tuesday’s training sessions.
