1. Clemson will not be short on experience in its inaugural season.

Clemson’s first year with a varsity women’s lacrosse program will have an unusual trait for a start-up program: experience. The Tigers are welcoming 19 transfers with at least one year of Division I experience.

2. They're coming back.

The Premier Lacrosse League announced that it will open its 2023 season in Albany, N.Y. from June 2-4.

3. Sam Apuzzo's Athletes Unlimited team will wear blue this week, but will have a golden touch.

Sam Apuzzo’s team went 3-0 in the opening weekend of Athletes Unlimited and the captain turned to USA teammates Lizzie Colson, Ally Mastroianni and Charlotte North in the week two draft to keep the momentum going.

4.A new NCAA Division III men's lacrosse conference will be an instant force.

The Coastal Lacrosse Conference will be a new six-team NCAA Division III men’s conference with some serious firepower, including Christopher Newport and Salisbury.
