Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Abby Wambach, one of the greatest soccer players in U.S. history, visited the U.S. women’s national team on Tuesday. She spoke to the team about embracing their inner “badasses” and fighting for what they want.

2. Bellarmine announced Tuesday that head coach Jim Mitchell is leaving the program “to pursue other professional opportunities.”
Mitchell took over the program on June 20, 2018 and led the team to a 3-10 record overall in 2019.
3. Culver (Ind.) ended its season on a 16-game win streak, capping the run with a win over Hill Academy (Ontario) in the National Prep Championships title game.
As a result, it moves to No. 1 in the Nike/US Lacrosse High School Boys’ National Top 25. Calvert Hall sits at No. 2 in the rankings.
4. St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (Va.) jumped to No. 2 in the Nike/US Lacrosse High School Girls’ Top 25 after avenged last year’s state final loss against Bishop Ireton.
Also into the top 5 is Oak Knoll (N.J.), which won the New Jersey Tournament of Champions title.
5. Joey Sankey hasn't had it easy the past few years. He's battled through two knee surgeries and testicular cancer, which left him out for two straight seasons.
He's back and grateful for those that have shown him support. He joins Paul Carcaterra for Overtime Season 2 Episode 8.

6. The NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Rules Committee has proposed changes to pre-game and in-game stick checks.
Among the changes, the committee proposed replacing the pregame stick check procedure with “a random selection and closer inspection of eight sticks and to reduce the number of in-game stick checks to two per team.”
In addition, the committee proposed slight changes to the 8-meter setup. Check out the full list here.
