Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. The Premier Lacrosse League — the advent and ascension of which were featured Tuesday in a wide-reaching narrative crafted by The Ringer’s Katie Bakes after she spent months with unrestricted access to co-founder Paul Rabil and league operators — kept the innovations coming with the announcement of its playoff format. The postseason will include separate tracks for the championship and the rights to the No. 1 draft pick in 2020.
We are excited to unveil the structure of the PLL Postseason!

Teams that are ranked #1 and #2 at the end of the regular season will have a guaranteed chance of vying for the Championship.
Teams ranked #5 and #6 will have a guaranteed chance of vying for the 1st overall draft pick in next year’s draft. The performance of the #3 and #4 seeds will determine whether they have a chance at being crowned the Champion or a shot at the first overall draft pick. pic.twitter.com/7sLwIVxnlA
