Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. US Lacrosse CEO Steve Stenersen with a poignant message during a trying time: "A gift from the Creator centuries ago, the roots of lacrosse run deep, as do the relationships our connection to the sport has enabled. If frustration or fear mount from time to time in the days to come, just grab your stick, and you’ll be reminded of the strength of that lasting connection."
2. Emily Hawryschuk was destined to wear the orange of Syracuse. “She’d be at travel games where all these different college coaches were watching, and she’d have an orange stick and orange socks,” said her father, Nick. “There really wasn’t anything else we could do.”
Emily Hawryschuk has lived at home the last two years, driving 70 miles to and from Syracuse each day.

Having no lacrosse right now is the most uneasy feeling I have ever had. That’s the only way to explain it. Since I was 9 yrs. old I have not missed a spring; that’s 37 years of the game being their for me. Selfishly I want it back..but..I get it. #BeatTheVirusWithTakeawayChecks
