Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Katie O’Donnell grew up on the lacrosse sidelines, watching her mother, Jen, refereeing numerous games throughout the early 2000s.
O’Donnell’s mother’s impact on the game earned her a bid to the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame. Now, the U.S. Women’s National team tryout invitee is looking to establish herself as a star in the women’s game.
2. John Ranagan a.k.a. a “giraffe on roller skates” was featured in our November edition’s Give & Go interview.
Just hours after the interview was posted, the New York Riptide traded Ranagan and a 2023 fourth-round pick to the Philadelphia Wings for Matt Marinier and a 2023 second-round pick.
