Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Major League Lacrosse unveiled its 2018 schedule Tuesday, highlighted by the Rattlers’ debut in Dallas on April 29. And while the announcement did nothing to quell gripes about the MLL-NLL overlap, at least one prominent player applauded the league for reducing Thursday night games.
2. Drew Supinski, a once-promising prospect for Johns Hopkins who has been linked in reports to numerous schools as a transfer, will land at Denver, according to College Crosse’s Chris Jastrzembski. The report also highlights that Mercer’s top scorer from 2017, Lucas Wittenberg, has landed at Georgetown.
3. Steve Stenersen, president and CEO of US Lacrosse, says the time is ripe to formally embrace the box game in the U.S.
4. Dom Starsia, the former Virginia coach and National Lacrosse Hall of Famer, leans on personal experience in the final installment of a three-part series on leadership.
