Good morning. Here's the latest from the lacrosse world:
1. How can Stony Brook take the next step?
Stony Brook has fallen short against North Carolina in back-to-back NCAA tournaments, continuing a trend of getting agonizingly close to the final four. With a young core returning in 2023, Joe Spallina’s squad will be tested plenty in nonconference and in the Colonial Athletic Association.

2. John Danowski has some tough decisions to make.
Danowski, the head coach of the U.S. men’s national team, watched as the 52-man training roster competed at Fall Classic last weekend. He now has just one more training session, at the IMLCA Players Summit in December, to gather more information.
