Good morning. Here's the latest from the lacrosse world:
1. The Premier Lacrosse League announced a series of key dates of the offseason player movement period.
Here are the details:
-
The trade window opens on Oct. 26, where teams will be able to trade players and draft picks. The window closes on Dec. 2.
-
During this window, teams participating in the PLL Championship Series can add players from the player pool to help fill out 12-man rosters for the 6-vs.-6 tournament that runs in February.
-
The first-ever PLL free agent window will open on March 6, 2023, the same day that the trade window re-opens.

2. Chelsie Hardee is helping grow the game in Iowa.
Hardee, whose daughter, Olivia, plays high school club lacrosse in the suburbs of Des Moines, was tired of games being cancelled due to an official shortage. She took matters into her own hands, attending a USA Lacrosse officials’ clinic.
