2. Athletes Unlimited looks to be the future of women’s lacrosse for years to come.
The inaugural season of Athletes Unlimited lacrosse was successful, with Taylor Cummings earning champion honors. Kenny DeJohn checks in from the latest edition of the magazine.
3. Ericka Leslie has proven it’s always a good idea to listen to Mom.
Leslie, who played college lacrosse at Old Dominion, faced a crossroads when her career ended. Her mother suggested she become an official, and years later, Leslie will be inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame as a Truly Great Official.
4. Tom Kennedy, Detroit Lions wide receiver.
Kennedy, the former Bryant men’s lacrosse player, made the Lions’ 53-man roster ahead of the opening week of the NFL season. He spent a week on the active roster in September 2019, but he will make the roster to start the year.
