Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. The summer of gold medals takes over our September/October edition.

The U.S. women’s national team (and stars Ally Mastroianni, Marie McCool, Lizzie Colson, Becca Block) grace the front cover of our next edition.

Meanwhile, CJ Kirst and the gold-medal-winning U.S. U21 appear on the back cover of the September/October edition.

2. Former Syracuse star Chase Scanlan has signed with the Vancouver Warriors.

Scanlan, whose college career ended when he was arrested on domestic violence-related charges, moved to British Columbia and joined the Langley Thunder and won the WLA Championship this summer.

3. The PLL quarterfinals taught us to never doubt the underdog.

  • USA Lacrosse announced a series of rules changes approved by the NFHS for the 2023 youth girls’ lacrosse season. Modifications to the stick check process and the restraining line rule during the administration of the draw were among the most notable changes supported by both the high school girls’ and youth girls’ lacrosse rules committees for the 2023 season.
