Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Jimmy Perkins and Adam Charalambides are the elder statesmen of college lacrosse.

Perkins (Robert Morris) and Charalambides (Rutgers) are both slated to play their seventh years of college lacrosse this spring. Perkins’ return to RMU was announced Aug. 31. He spent two years in Utah before deciding to make his return to the Colonials.

Charalambides has spent his entire college career with the Scarlet Knights, and he’s ready for his last go-around in college lacrosse.

As 24-year-olds, both Perkins and Charalambides have already played against (and in some cases, with) players they’ve coached.

2. What next? Kyle Harrison joined Tari Kandemiri on Instagram.

Harrison and Kandemiri — aka Official Lax Girl — spoke on IG Live about how to grow lacrosse’s demographics through community outreach and action. Watch it below.

3. Division III school Alfred State has dropped men's lacrosse.

Beginning this year, Alfred State College won't sponsor men's lacrosse or co-ed western equestrian. All of the other programs will be required to reduce their operating budgets. Read more here.

4. World Lacrosse is working to advance the game.

World Lacrosse announced Tuesday the creation of two commissions and one working group, all designed to develop the game. The newly created Diversity and Opportunity Commission and Women in Sport Commission will aid World Lacrosse in matters of diversity and equity.

There will also be a Women’s Indoor/Box Lacrosse Working Group, with Michelle Bowyer serving as chair.

5. The Michigan men have announced their incoming players.

Head coach Kevin Conry welcomes in the No. 3 overall recruiting class, according to Inside Lacrosse, led by attackman Michael Boehm. Grad student Tyler Papa (Limestone College) also joins the Wolverines.
