As we speak, teams are arriving in Netanya, Israel, for the 2018 FIL Men's World Championship, which officially kicks off Thursday. Lacrosse players from across the globe will meet in the Mediterranean city for two weeks — many of which play college lacrosse in the United States.
The 2014 medalists — Canada, the United States and the Iroquois Nationals, which won gold, silver and bronze, respectively — have rosters littered with current and former NCAA lacrosse stars. Check out their rosters if you need a refresher:

Sean Aaron (Union '12): 2012 USILA First Team All-American and Liberty League Defensive Player of the Year.
Chris Robertson (Siena): All-MAAC Second Team, notched over 100 goals in his career.
Callum Robinson (Stevenson '15/Atlanta Blaze): Helped the Mustangs to the 2013 national championship. Has appeared in 22 games for the Blaze.

Christian Scarpello (Rutgers): Recorded 29 ground balls, seven caused turnovers, one goal and two assists as a starting SSDM last season.
Jimmy Yanes (Hofstra): Finished second on the team with 24 goals and 11 assists in 2018.
Scotland
Luke Laszkiewicz (Robert Morris/Rochester Knighthawks): Finished second on Robert Morris’ all-time scoring list with 167 points.
Matt MacGrotty (Bryant/Saskatchewan Rush): Played in four games with Champion’s Cup winners. Drafted in the fourth round in 2014.

Jean-Luc Chetner (Towson): The Richmond transfer led the Tigers with 32 points on 17 goals and 15 assists last season.
Max Seibald (Boston Cannons/Cornell): Tewaaraton Award winner at Cornell who played for the U.S. national team in 2010 and 2014. Five-time MLL All-Star.
Noah Molnar (Denver Outlaws/Lehigh): Played in part of five MLL seasons, scoring seven times and adding 60 ground balls.
Other notables: Kyle Bergman (Drexel ’12), Josh Offitt (Duke ’12), Zachary Pall (Hofstra ’11), Isaac Paparo (UMass), Eric Schneider (Johns Hopkins ’15), Benjamin Smith (Harvard ’10), Nick Steinfield (Bucknell) and Ari Sussman (Dartmouth ’10).

Evan Redwood (Amherst ‘12): A two-year captain, he finished his career with 157 points in 62 games for Amherst.

Kinori Rosnow (Oberlin ‘17): Scored 13 goals and added two assists in his senior season in 2017. Won 68 percent of faceoffs (278-for-409).

Charlie McCormick (Georgetown ’15): Finished his career with six goals and an assist in 2015. Had 13 goals and five assists in 2014.
Geoff Davis (Gettysburg ’16): Two-time USILA All-American.

Joe Varela (Alderson Broaddus): Starting goalie in 2018. Saved 51.6 percent of shots last season.

Alex Weiss (Sacred Heart): Member of the Sacred Heart roster as a freshman in 2018.

Tyler Chin (Cortland ’14): Scored six goals and added five assists in his senior season.
John Lazarsfeld (Yale ’17): Played in 16 games for the Bulldogs in 2017.
Andrew Song (Princeton): All-Ivy League Honorable Mention after his freshman season in 2018. Second on the team in ground balls and caused turnovers.

Connor Murphy (Colgate ’16): Played in 28 games over two seasons. Tallied 33 ground balls in 2015.

Conor Kelly (Notre Dame ’15): Started 11 games the NCAA runners-up in 2014. Stopped 12 shots in the national championship game loss to Duke.
Luke Palmadesso (Villanova ’18): Won 24 of 47 faceoffs for the Wildcats last season.
Aaron Cahill (Le Moyne '13): Served as a SSDM for the 2013 national championship team. He had 19 goals, 21 points, 69 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers in 38 career games with the Dolphins.

Angelo Beacon-Paglia (Lynn ’17): Recorded 98 ground balls in three seasons, good for third in program history.
Matt Gudas (Vermont '18): Appeared in 50 games during his four-year career with the Catamounts.

Tyler Martin (Lynn ’16): Scored two goals and added two assists during his sophomore season.
Drew Lukacs (Boston U): Started eight games in 2018 as a junior long pole. Tallied 12 ground balls and three caused turnovers.

Dickson Smith (Virginia/Michigan ’17): Played 16 games for the Cavaliers and spent one season with the Wolverines.
Eric Smith (Michigan ’18): Started 14 games in 2017, recording 17 ground balls and nine caused turnovers.

Mario Ventiquattro (Ohio State '09/Florida Launch): Son of coach Kirk Ventiquattro. Standout with the Buckeyes, finishing third in scoring with 32 points in 2009.
Dan Morris (Maryland '18/New York Lizards): Started every game for the Terps in 2017 and 2018, helping them win a national championship. Finished his career with 410 saves.
Justin Hussey (Le Moyne '18): First Team All-Northeast-10 Conference selection as an LSM in 2018. In 34 games over two seasons with the Dolphins, he had 90 ground balls and 38 caused turnovers.

Samuel Futrovsky (Saint Vincent '11): Four-year defenseman for Saint Vincent. Three goals and two assists his senior year.
Peter Mumford (Bowdoin '17): USILA All-American Honorable Mention and First Team All-NESCAC. Recorded 170 saves in 2017.

JT Giles-Harris (Duke): Recorded 26 ground balls and 22 caused turnovers for the national runners-up in 2018. Third Team All-American.
Devin Cruz (Belmont Abbey ’16): Division II All-American in 2016 after recording 81 ground balls and 54 caused turnovers.
Wil Ramos (Albany): Redshirted freshman season in 2018, but could start for the Great Danes in 2019.
Ricky Pages (Ohio State ’08): Played in 58 games, tallying 135 ground balls for the Buckeyes. Spent time with the New York Lizards, Charlotte Hounds and Boston Cannons.
Thomas O'Connell (Maryland): Started every game for Maryland at SSDM in 2018.
Scott Bieda (Rutgers '16/Boston Cannons): Sixth in Rutgers history with 193 points. Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year in 2016. Played in 16 games for the Cannons.

Riley Lasda (Albany ’17): Scored 13 goals and seven assists while playing on the second midfield in 2017.

Ernesto Melero (Tufts ‘13): Member of the Jumbos roster from 2011-12.
Juan Contreras (Otterbein ‘13): Scored a goal and dished out eight assists in 2013.

Evan Mok-Lamme (Illinois Wesleyan): Scored 35 goals and 17 assists in 2017. Moved to Hong Kong and helps grow the game in schools.

Thomas Klosowski (Onondaga/Ohio State): Two-time All-American at Onondaga. Joined the Buckeyes program in 2012.
Christian Dzwilewski (Providence ’12): Appeared in 35 games for the Friars. Made 127 saves his senior season.
