Lindsey Ronbeck was wrecking records left and right for the Gators en route to the 2018 Big East tournament crown for the fourth straight year, earning her Brine/US Lacrosse Player of the Week honors.

Against Marquette in the conference semifinal, a 19-8 Florida win, the junior attacker tied the Big East tournament record for most goals in a single half (5, tying Georgetown’s Coco Stanwick from 2007) and set a new tournament mark for most goals in a game (8). Her eight goals also tied Florida’s program record, matching Shannon Gilroy from a 2014 game against High Point.

In the Gators’ 18-6 rout of Denver in the Big East championship, Ronbeck again had a stellar performance.

With seven goals and one assist in the victory, she set a new conference tournament record with 16 points in two games. Her eight points led her to an individual milestone of 200 career points.

Plus, Ronbeck set a new Big East record for most goals in the tournament (15) and sits at 31 career points in the conference tournament, which is another new Big East record.

Fittingly, Ronbeck was named the Big East tournament's Most Outstanding Player.

The Big East conference champion, led by Ronbeck’s team-high 61 goals in 16 games, earned the No. 6 seed in the 2018 NCAA tournament and will await the winner of the first round matchup between Colorado and Jacksonville.
