PRESENTED BY TRAINING LACE
What’s one thing that always puts you in a good mood?
Morning snuggles with the family. My husband, Nick, and I have two kids, Cash (3) and Gage (6 months).
What is your favorite hobby?
Cooking. I love to find new easy recipes. I am obsessed with my Crockpot and pizza stone.
What’s been the proudest moment of your career?
I have two — winning the gold medal with Team USA in 2013 and making the NCAA tournament with Boston College for the first time in program history in 2011. Both were so satisfying and exciting because it meant all the hard work both individually and as a team paid off.
Who’s your favorite athlete?
Tom Brady.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
Play and coach football. I love how it’s like a chess match.
Where did you go on your last vacation?
Nashville, Tenn., hence the cowboy boots! I love live country music and we had a blast on Broadway Street.
What’s the most played song on your favorite playlist?
“Meant to Be” by Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line.
Who is your role model?
My parents. They have sacrificed so much to put my siblings and me in the best position possible to succeed. I am very thankful for them.
Where did you go on your last vacation?
Ocean City, Md. My family goes down every summer and we all stay in one house, so it gets a little crazy, but it’s a fun week with everyone.
What’s one thing that always puts you in a good mood?
Hanging out with friends. It’s simple, but we always have a good time and I can count on them to make me laugh.
What’s one thing you can’t live without?
My headphones. It may just be walking to class, doing homework or hanging out, but I love listening to my music.
What’s one thing lacrosse really needs?
More publicity. It’s a great sport and people who don’t really know anything about the game have told me they love watching it and how much fun it looks like it is.
What are your pregame rituals?
I put my headphones in and listen to a mix of house music and rap. I sit by myself so I can get a good stretch and so I can get my mind focused.
What’s your favorite sports movie?
“Remember the Titans” or “Miracle.” Any time they’re on TV, I watch them and they go so much deeper than just sports.
What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?
Starting a business. My sister-in-law, Tanner Guarino, and I started a girls’ lacrosse club program, Gold Star Lacrosse.

If you had the opportunity to be a professional athlete in any sport, what would it be?
Tennis. I am always inspired when I watch the athletes compete in the Grand Slams. They are so strong, quick and mentally tough.

What is the single most important thing in your life right now that helps you to excel as an elite athlete, mom/wife and club owner?
I am just a very internally motivated person. I am a firm believer that if you are going to do something, why not do it right and try to be the best at it? Of course, all three come with a lot of times of failure and learning, but I always try to stay motivated to reach the top.
