When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I was always fascinated with weather because I was scared of thunderstorms and severe weather. I used to sit on the WeatherBug for hours tracking storms (#nerd) so I decided I wanted to be a meteorologist.
What’s the most played song on your favorite playlist?
“Sorry Not Sorry” by Demi Lovato. Our whole team is on a huge Demi Lovato kick. I’m always yelling in the locker room, “Put on ‘Sorry Not Sorry!”, even if it was just played three songs ago. Kind of annoying of me, but not my fault that song bumps.
If you could marry a celebrity, who would it be?
Ryan Reynolds. Good-looking and so funny. Good combo.
What is your favorite hobby?
I love being at the beach and swimming in the ocean. My freshman year, our team went on a foreign trip to Greece, and it was a running joke that I never got out of the water.
If you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?
[Professional surfer and left arm amputee] Bethany Hamilton. I think her story is so inspirational.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Steak, mashed potatoes and asparagus. The Maryland girl in me could also eat crabs for the rest of my life and never get sick of them, so it’s a tie between those two.
What type of animal would best describe your style of play?
A leopard because they like to wait for their prey and then suddenly attack. My go-to move is cutting in the middle. I like to wait and set up my cut, then attack when I feel the time is right.
What’s been the proudest moment of your career?
My freshman year being a part of the team that brought Penn State back to the final four for the first time since 1999. Being at the final four in Philadelphia, and seeing the huge section filled with Penn State alumni cheering the whole game, was the coolest experience. The overwhelming sense of Penn State pride in the stands showed what Penn State is all about, and reminded me how lucky I am to be a small part of something so amazing.

What are your favorite workouts to improve stamina?
Going on long runs are always good for stamina! My mom loves to run and when we are on vacation we go running up the mountains. She is always right behind me giving me a run for my money so I’m lucky to have her pushing me.
