National champion Maryland and national runner-up Boston College combined to place seven players on the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Division I All-America first team.
Three seniors were selected from the Terps' national championship squad to the first team — defender Julia Braig, midfielder Jen Giles and goalie Megan Taylor. Four other Terps earned recognition on either the second or third team.
Representing Boston College were senior attacker Sam Apuzzo, senior midfielder Dempsey Arsenault, graduate student/attacker Kenzie Kent and defender Elizabeth Miller.
A total of 10 schools were respresented on the first team with North Carolina also placing multiple players with sophomore attacker Jamie Ortega and sophomore defender Emma Trenchard.
