Jen Adams is one of the greatest lacrosse players of all time, but her humble roots make her one of the most down-to-earth figures in the sport.
A native of Australia, Adams took a trip with her team to the United States, where she met the Maryland coaching staff, led by Cindy Timchal. Months later, she was committing to travel across the world to play college lacrosse — where she’d complete one of the most illustrious careers in the history of the sport.
Adams took pride in playing for her country and won a gold medal with Australia in the 2005 world championship. At the tail end of her playing career, she began a successful coaching tenure that has led her to Loyola.
She reflected on her career thus far with Paul Carcaterra, from her Australian origins to her vision for the future of the Loyola program.
