In their lone game of the week, the Eagles beat Coppell (Texas) 10-4. They play two games in California this week, at Poway and at Cathedral Catholic. Poway was the San Diego CIF Open Division champion in 2015 and 2016. Previous: 7

The Knights opened the King of Spring with a 19-11 win over previously unbeaten Apex (N.C.) and then knocked off Bishop O’Connell (Va.) 15-10. Nicky Solomon had eight goals and four assists in the win over Apex, and Colin Hall added six goals, three assists. Ryan Siracusa tallied seven goals and an assist against O’Connell, and Hall had four goals, four assists. Ben Shealy won 31 of 41 faceoffs for the tournament. Christian Tomei, Oxbridge (Fla.)
The junior goalie was superb in a 5-2 win over previously-unbeaten Jupiter (Fla.). Tomei had a season-high 17 saves in the defensive battle. He also collected 14 saves in a loss to nationally-ranked Boys’ Latin (Md.) to bring his season total to 64 saves.
