There was no change among the two leaders in the Nike/US Lacrosse Division II Women’s Top 20 as No. 1 Adelphi and No. 2 Lindenwood were both idle this week and held their ground. The main movement came just below, with Le Moyne inching up one spot to No. 3 following a 10-6 season-opening road win against previously third-ranked LIU Post.  A busy week ahead includes every member of the Top 10 in action and four Top 20 teams – No. 11 West Chester, No. 13 Indiana (Pa.), No. 15 Bentley and No. 16 Lock Haven - that will be playing their season opening games.

HOT

Le Moyne (+1)
The Dolphins rallied from a one goal halftime deficit to outscore LIU Post 7-2 in the second half and register the season-opening road victory. Sophomore Bryanna Fazio scored four of those second-half goals to lead Le Moyne, which returns to action against 12th-ranked Grand Valley State on Thursday in a neutral site match-up at US Lacrosse’s Tierney Field in Sparks, Maryland.

Rollins (+1)
Due to their busy early-season schedule, the Tars have moved up and down in the rankings more than any other team thus far in 2017. Following a 2-0 week that featured victories over Wheeling Jesuit and No. 17 Stonehill, Rollins is on the move again this week, climbing back into the Top 10.

NOT

LIU Post (-5)
A tough week for the Pioneers, who had their Wednesday game against Nyack cancelled due to inclement weather and lost to Le Moyne at home after being outplayed in the second half. LIU Post has a chance to rebound with a pair of non-conference games this week against Philadelphia and No. 20 Stonehill.
