Limestone, which returns its top three scorers in Larson Sundown, Tyler Papa and Clark Walter, is the No. 1 team in the Nike/US Lacrosse Division II Men's Preseason Top 20.

The rankings are published in the January edition of US Lacrosse Magazine, which drops Jan. 2.

Sundown paced the Saints' offense with 70 goals and 110 points in 2019, and Papa is coming off a 54-goal season to give Limestone a dynamic duo on attack. Walter, a force in all areas of the field, will patrol the midfield. Not to mention that Limestone returns Dakota Kirsch-Downs and Christopher Parrott, two faceoff men who combined to win over 65 percent at the X.

Adelphi, the No. 2 team, lost significant talent but returns four All-Americans and Gordon Purdie Jr., who is back for a graduate year. Le Moyne is No. 3 and has holes to fill with the graduations of Dan Entenmann and Zac Prattson. Mercyhurst and Belmont Abbey are Nos. 4 and 5, respectively.
