Most know Maddie Jenner for her draw prowess. But the 6-foot-2 attacker has proven plenty dangerous as a scorer throughout her career.

Both facets were in full display in the final minutes Saturday, as Duke knocked off defending NCAA champion Boston College 16-15.

Jenner pulled down 12 draws, including a critical one in the fourth quarter after the Eagles rallied to tie the game at 15. Then she scored the game-winning goal off a feed from Caroline DeBellis with 1:21 remaining. She is the USA Lacrosse Magazine Division I Women's Player of the Week.

“This game validates what we've always thought, which is we're a top team,” Blue Devils coach Kerstin Kimel said afterward.

Jenner leads Division I with 201 draw controls (12.56 per game), just 23 shy of the NCAA single-season record.
