The IWLCA released its Top 25 rankings for Division I, II and III women's lacrosse on Monday.

Maryland, the defending national champion, earned 15 first-place votes and checks in at No. 1. North Carolina ranked just behind the Terps with 10 first-place votes. Northwestern, Syracuse and Boston College round out the top five, respectively.

Defending champion Adelphi tops the Division II rankings, earning 23 of a possible 25 first-place votes. West Chester and Le Moyne are Nos. 2 and 3, respectively, each earning one first-place vote.

Middlebury earned all 25 first-place votes to top the Division III rankings. The Panthers, who were 22-1 in 2019 and national champions, pace a top five including Tufts, Salisbury, Gettysburg and Wesleyan (Conn.), respectively.
