Maryland men’s lacrosse picked up another quality win on Saturday, dominating North Carolina 16-9 in the next chapter of one of the game’s top rivalries. The catalyst for the Terps’ big day? Sophomore Logan Wisnauskas.
Wisnauskas, who put up 50 points as a freshman in 2018, had his best game of the young season, dropping eight points on four goals and four assists to lead Maryland to the commanding win. His big game earns him Warrior/US Lacrosse Player of the Week honors.
In fact, this isn’t Wisnauskas’ first eight-point game of the season. He scored three goals and added five assists in a win over Navy on Feb. 23. He’s quickly becoming one of Maryland’s top options on offense.
The Warrior/US Lacrosse Player of the Week, selected by US Lacrosse Magazine staff and contributors, recognizes the top performers in Division I men’s lacrosse throughout the season.
