Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. The Tewaaraton finalists are here.
The list of women’s finalists, announced Thursday, are as follows: Erin Coykendall, Jenn Medjid, Isabella Peterson, Izzy Scane and Meaghan Tyrrell. The list features multiple returners from 2022, but three new names. Click here for more.
On the men’s side, the most talked-about names made the list: Tucker Dordevic, Pat Kavanagh, CJ Kirst, Brennan O’Neill, Connor Shellenberger. Stay tuned for what should be an entertaining race. Click here for more details.
2. The Division III Men’s and Women’s All-Americans dropped on Thursday.
Tufts, the No. 1 team in Division III men’s lacrosse, boasted eight All-American honorees, while Salisbury earned five nominees. Click here for the full list of All-Americans.
In Division III women’s lacrosse, Middlebury lead the way with seven All-American selections, while Gettysburg had three first team nods. Click here for the full list of All-Americans.
3. The Division I and Division II WCLA finals are set.
Four semifinal games took place in Virginia Beach on Thursday. In Division I, both Boston College and Georgia held off comebacks to set up a championship game rematch on Friday. Click here to read more.
In Division II, National Player of the Year Maya Lightfoot led top-seeded Utah Valley into a matchup with No. 2 seed New Hampshire. Click here for the recap.
